The design has as its source of inspiration:

Pegasus  (Geometric period in Greece 1100-800 BC)

Pegasus is one of the most famous creatures of the Greek mythology. He was a white winged horse, the son of Poseidon and mermaid Medusa. There are many theories about his birth but the predominant one is that he popped out of Medusa’s neck the moment Perseus decapitated her. Pegasus has been depicted upon vessels and coins of the Greek ancient art and in Renaissance’s paintings and sculptures. He represents deep spirituality and he is related to creative imagination in the global civilization. He serves beauty loyally through arts and that is why Pegasus is considered to be a symbol of inspiration and a protector of all the creative people.
