who we are Who are we?
The CULtTOURteam, after several years of planning, took its final form in 2020 in Athens. Its members, with knowledge of history, archeology, illustration, directing, creative writing, political science and business administration, frame with imagination, love and creative disposition the whole process of cultural production.

What were we thinking?
Our goal is to design accessories and products that serve a dual purpose. To give a special style to anyone chooses and uses them, but above all, to transmit the knowledge of our not-so-well-known cultural past through the patterns and texts that accompany them.

How do we do that?
The first step is to believe and abide by the rule, which says that partnerships must be characterized by honesty, respect, trust and professionalism in order to stand the test of time. The second stage is the hard work in both the research and the production process of cultural products.

Culture /kul’cher/ n is all about protecting and cultivating. It started this way from the Latin word colere, derived from the root kʷel- (to move; to turn around). The Ancient Roman orator Cicero introduced the concept of cultura animi, an agricultural metaphor for the development of a philosophical soul, in which people overcome barbarism and become fully human.

- CULtTOUR is all about protecting and cultivating as well. Our team illustrates a hidden side of our cultural past through artistic patterns in symbols met in the Greek culture and in many ancient civilizations as well. We spread their tradition hoping that the cultural characteristics of a community stay alive and kicking when mingled with other cultural families, just like the bee’s pollen traveling from flower to flower.

- CULtTOUR has to do with protection and cultivation as well. Our group approaches a hidden side of our cultural past through the reproduction of artistic motifs with symbols, found in Greek culture, but also in many ancient cultures. By traveling, these symbols, like other bees, mingle with other cultural families, retaining their characteristics and triggering new cultural forms
